The ew 500 G4-KK205 Wireless Vocal Set with KK 205 Capsule from Sennheiser is designed to celebrate the 90th anniversary of Neumann. It combines the power and flexibility of Sennheiser’s ew 500 G4 wireless series with the highly regarded audio quality of Neumann’s KK 205 condenser capsule. This kit includes the Neumann KK 205 supercardioid condenser mic capsule, a Sennheiser SKM 500 G4 handheld transmitter, EM 300-500 G4 rackmount receiver, GA3 rack kit, NT 2-3 power supply, and microphone clip. The wireless vocal set can be used to capture audio for live stage, theater, and vocal applications.
The ew 500 G4 wireless system features up to 50mW of RF power, up to 88 MHz of frequency bandwidth, as well as compatibility with the Neumann KK 205 capsule, which previously required the use of the 2000, digital 6000, or digital 9000 series wireless system. Additionally, the KK 205 capsule head is based on Neumann’s KMS series of wired stage microphones. Engineered for stage use, the KK 205 accommodates sound pressure levels up to 150 dB without clipping. The tight, frequency-independent supercardioid polar pattern ensures high gain before feedback.
Also, with its smooth frequency response, airy top, and superior transient response, the 90th anniversary edition, ew 500 G4-KK205 wireless vocal set with KK 205 capsule delivers an immediate, emotional vocal sound. In addition, Sennheiser Control Cockpit Software (download) offers easy handling, control, and maintenance for the Digital Wireless System. It provides a global overview of all network-enabled devices, shows all status information, and makes setting adjustments very easy.
