The 12″ JBL PRX712 1500W Two-Way Multipurpose Self-Powered Speaker is designed to be a stage monitor or front of house PA for live sound reinforcement applications, such as concerts, schools, and houses of worship, among others. The speaker is built from poplar plywood with an obsidian DuraFlex finish using tongue and groove joinery for stronger bracing and less box vibration. It utilizes a 12″ low-distortion, low-frequency woofer, a wave-guided 1.5″ diameter neodymium compression driver, and a class-D amplifier to achieve a maximum SPL of 135 dB and a frequency response of 44.8 to 19,600 Hz.
