The Cerwin-Vega CVA-28 Dual 8″ Active Full Range Speaker System is designed for live sound reinforcement applications such as for mobile DJ gigs and club installations. The speaker utilizes three amplifiers to deliver 400W continuous power or 800W peak power output into two 8″ drivers and a 34mm concentric HF driver. The speaker can accept either mic or line level inputs and includes a Sub/No Sub switch for high pass filtering and integration with powered subwoofer systems.

The front panel metal grill protects the drivers and also functions as a heat sink to help cool the drivers and optimize system performance. A contour switch provides an alternate EQ circuit.

Multiple units can be daisy-chained together to build larger systems. The CVA-28 is constructed of road-ready 18mm hardwood with a Coolex polyurethane paint finish. The speaker can be mounted in dual and triple configurations or with a dedicated fly-ware kit (sold separately). The unit is also compatible with industry standard speaker poles and accessories (sold separately).
